A Plain-English Privacy Policy

No dark patterns. No sneaky data sales. Here’s exactly what gets collected when you use this site, who sees it, and how to make it go away if you want.

Who We Are

This site is operated by Kritt Real Estate LLC, a Texas-licensed real estate brokerage owned by Jeremy Kritt. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the brokerage. References to “you” mean any visitor to krittrealestate.com.

What We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you submit a contact form, request a home valuation, or message me by email or phone, you provide things like your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, property details, and whatever else you choose to share. We collect that because you sent it.

Information collected automatically. Standard server logs capture IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. A small tracking script tied to our customer relationship system records the pages you view on this site so I can follow up with relevant information if you reach out. No screen recording, no keystroke logging.

Information from third-party embeds. Some pages embed video tours and review content from outside platforms. Those embeds may set their own cookies subject to their providers’ privacy policies. Where possible we use privacy-enhanced versions of these embeds to minimize tracking.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, or government IDs through this website. If a transaction requires that information, we collect it through secure, separate channels (e.g., your title company or lender).

How We Use It

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide the real estate services you’ve asked about

  • To prepare market analyses, comps, and recommendations relevant to your property or search

  • To follow up with information about properties, market changes, or your transaction

  • To meet legal, tax, regulatory, and Texas Real Estate Commission record-keeping requirements

  • To improve the website’s usability and content

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers, advertising networks, or unrelated third parties for their marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Like most real estate websites, ours runs on a handful of standard platforms for things like form delivery, customer relationship management, video and review embeds, and web hosting. When you interact with one of those features, the relevant provider receives only what’s needed to deliver the service. We choose vendors with reasonable privacy and security practices, and we don’t share your information with any service for purposes outside the one it was collected for.

During an actual transaction, we may also share information with title companies, mortgage lenders, inspectors, attorneys, or other transaction parties at your direction or as required to close. This is the normal course of doing real estate business. If you ever want to know exactly which providers handle a specific piece of your information, just ask and I’ll tell you.

Cookies & Tracking

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Most are functional (remembering form state, keeping the site responsive). Our customer relationship system places a tracking cookie that links your browser session to your contact record once you submit a form, so we can follow up with information relevant to the pages you viewed.

Most browsers let you block cookies entirely or per-site. Doing so may break some features (notably the contact form), but you’re free to do it. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or third-party advertising trackers.

Third-party content. When you watch an embedded video or interact with an embedded review widget, the provider of that content may collect information about your visit and may track your activity across other websites that use the same service. We don’t control those practices. Their privacy policies govern those interactions.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal indicating you don’t want your activity tracked. We do not change our own practices in response to these signals because we do not track users across third-party websites and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The third-party services embedded on our site may handle these signals according to their own policies.

Your Rights

No matter where you live, you can email me at jeremy@krittrealestate.com to ask:

  • What information we have about you

  • To correct anything that’s wrong

  • To delete your information (subject to legal record-keeping requirements for completed transactions)

  • To stop further marketing follow-up

  • For a copy of your information in a portable format

I’ll respond within 30 days. There’s no charge for these requests. I won’t retaliate against anyone who exercises these rights.

Direct Mail & Marketing

Like most real estate brokers, we occasionally send postcards to homeowners in service areas where we work. The names and addresses on those postcards come from publicly available property tax records, not from this website. If you received a postcard and want to be removed from future mailings, email me with the address and I’ll remove it within one mail cycle.

Security & How Long We Keep It

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

We keep your information for as long as we’re actively working with you or following up on your inquiry. If you’d like us to delete it sooner, just ask. Records tied to a completed real estate transaction may need to be kept for a period required by Texas law, but anything beyond that minimum will be removed on request.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact me and I’ll delete it.

Updates to This Policy

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, I’ll update the date below and post the revised version here. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the policy for at least 30 days before they take effect.
